Social Responsibility

Where does the gray are of individual responsibility, oppression and group responsibility become a clear line?

I think about this in relation to public health. What is the responsibility of government, social group, church, family, school, social justice organization in relation to the health of individuals? What about emotional health?

What standards can groups set that don’t alienate but rather encourage healthy choices and behaviors? Who defines those behaviors?

These question get tricky when we start to look at how the world is right now, the systems of oppression and exploitation that exist and the fight for a better world. Who defines healthy? Is hard science right regardless of politics?
